World Series of Poker 2006

Las Vegas, Nevada is about to open up shop again for the World Series of Poker 2006 edition! The 45 event schedule is packed full of Texas Hold'em, Omaha, 7 card stud events and more. This year the No Limit Texas Hold'em Main Event Prize will be worth $10,000,000 and host 8000 players from around the world. The Main Event runs from July 28th, 2006 - August 10th, 2006 covering 14 days of intense poker action. This event is sure to witness poker royalty trying to take down the crown with the likes of Mike "the mouth" Mattesow trying to reach the final table again in hopes of taking down "The Big One" for the first time. Others such as John Juanda, Chris "Jesus" Ferguson and returning champion Joseph Hatchem will all be gunning for the crown as pokers top player!
